January

january is a start-up. especially with our world's condition and my life, i want to plan, something i rarely do, because right now, i feel stuck.

just this afternoon, i went somewhere, a place a lil' bit far from my house. i walked about fifteen steps from our vehicle, taking this particular desolated road. there were food stalls, and me and food, we get along most of the time.

nothing dramatic happened from the outsider's naked eye. i was just there, buying some grilled snacks.

but it was cloudy. the wind caressed my cheeks. the wind was cold. i was wearing my favorite green, parka jacket. i was in my comfy attire. i talked to the kind lady about the desolation of that place. i stared far off, noticing roadsides of bushy, shrubbery greens, its ending in mist, still desolate, and yet, filled with magical possibilities.

and then i realized i missed to be by myself. travel alone. eat alone. shop alone. explore alone. i missed talking with kind strangers. i even missed my weird and risky social experiments (i usually attract people with loose screw in the head). i missed experiencing things by myself.

and it's a freedom i would never stop craving.

who put shackles on your feet to keep you from leaving, from moving forward?

no one but yourself.

january is a month of planning even if you ain't fond of organizing your life events into a particular schedule. january is a month of questions. january is a month of learning about patience. it's when i ask myself, over and over again,

" what
will you
sacrifice
in
order
to
be
F R E E ? "

How To Order Using Shopeepay (Philippines)

I just did my first "shopeepay" transaction and guess what,

seeds and seeds and more SEEDS πŸ˜†

(inserting review about shopeepay in case you're also interested)

✔️ firstly, I prefer shopee b'coz of their free shipping offers. shopeepay, their newest payment method, offers A LOT of free shipping vouchers.

✔️ the term "free shipping" is not really entirely what it means nowadays in shopee. usually, when you apply a free shipping voucher, you get a SHIPPING FEE DISCOUNT of more than 50% of the original shipping price by your chosen courier. it depends so check on the details as available on more options. still it is pretty good. who doesn't love discounts anyway?

✔️ shopeepay is pretty smooth as long as you chose a real-time payment counter (pagkabayad mo, mag rereflect kaagad. may ibang payment options na hindi real-time) to top-up/cash-in. syempre para magka-pera shopeepay mo, maglalagay ka ng pera (top-up) check out shopee's guidelines how.

✔️ so that you won't have a panic moment like what happened to me (secret na kung ano 'yon, moment lang ng kashungaan ko πŸ˜†), when using shopeepay considering you already top-up/cash-in:

1. make sure you have enough balance in your shopeepay for the total amount of item you will check out

2. select the item(s) to check out from your shopping cart. all items must be from a single shop for the voucher to work.

3. in the shopping cart page, select the free shipping voucher for shopeepay BEFORE you check-out

4. checkout

5. double check your items and the rest of important details (your delivery address for example)

6. when you're 100% sure, click on "place order"

✔️ the only disadvantage when using free shipping voucher + shopeepay is you can't use COD method. still, in case there are issues in delivery, a refund option is available. HOWEVER, verify your shopeepay account first for transactions like refund or withdraw. payment for your items during checkout DOES NOT require a verified shopeepay account.

✔️ in case of complicated issues, contact shopee support.

✔️ overall, choose a shop that is preferred and with high ratings. test them out if they also reply on chats. if they do and they reply fast and nicely with a good customer service, plus if they have good reviews from other buyers, then there's a high chance your shopee experience won't fuck up. let's always be vigilant to avoid headaches.

Enjoy online shopping!
