This is my first official post in this blog so I think it would be relevant to discuss the focus of my future posts. It is also a good way to interweave everything before treating topics individually. I am also 90% certain that my first readers are people who already knew me in some ways. Either you are someone from Wattpad or other online writing platforms I’ve been through. Or you are a curious fellow I met in real life.
To maintain a blogging site has been always one of my
dreams. I have tried using other domains before but have failed in maintaining
them. One reason is because the features are slow and time consuming. The
topics are also limited for a certain group of people. What I want to do right
now is to be able to maintain a blog that I could share to everyone.
If you don’t know (which I kinda doubt if you’re here
because of a personal invite from me), I absolutely love books. Fictional books in general. My favorite genre combination is
fantasy+slow-burn-hate-to-lovers-romance. Lately, I have also realized that I’m
actually reading non-fiction: history and geography. My love for literature will
be further discussed in the future. This is just a short intro as to what you
can expect out of this blog. BOOKS, friend. A lot of literature-related posts
are on the line-up.
Nature. When I wrote this word, I’m mostly referring to our
environment…Earth…our home as human beings. Though I could also include human
nature and the likes. Botany is my specialization. I am fond of plants, the
wilds, the stories written on rocks, and other forms wherein nature can manifests. To
be surrounded with wild growth of plants, sprawl on grasses under the sheath of
stars and moon above, watch colorful leaves fall to the ground and many others…just
give me this wonderful sensation of being happy because I am here. I am
surviving. I am alive.
These, therefore, is a good transition as to why this blog
will also include snippets of notable daily events in my life. Through
fiction, I could use my imagination, meet a lot of people, be in different
worlds within this single life time, and learn lessons in a very unique way
only few people have found. Then through my interaction with nature, I will
witness the wonderful gifts of my Father and his love for me. A love that
extends to all of his creations. A love that is boundless and eternal. All of
these converge into this single word we called ‘life.’ A word that is short as
it is literally short, but figuratively, could be longer and even immortal
depending on how we choose to live it. A life freely given to us by our Father.
With these, I hope you will look forward into reading my
future posts. If we are not on the same radar, you are free to proceed on your way. There will be at least one new blog post per week. More if I’m
feeling good.
I'm excited to read your future posts. ♡
